Northern NSW Football's 2010 season will commence on Sunday March 14th with the Herald Women's Premier League.
Sunday March 21st will see Round 1 of the twelve (12) team NEWFM 1st Division competition.
The NBN State League, consisting of eight (8) clubs, commences on Friday April 1st.
At junior level, the Regional Championships aim to develop youth talent across Northern NSW in both male and female divisions.
NBN State Football League
Is the premier competition involving eight (8) teams from within the Hunter Region. Consists of three (3) grades - 1st Grade, Under 23's and Under 18's. Minor grades consist of nine (9) teams, with the U23's also including an NSWIS team and the U18's including an Emerging Atghletes team. The competition consists of three full rounds, commencing on 3rd April 2010.
NEWFM First Division Football League
Is the second tier competition involving 12 teams from within the Hunter Region. Also consists of three grades - 1st Grade, Reserve Grade and U 19's. Consists of two full rounds, commencing on 21st March 2010, with the season culminating with the Grand Final on Sunday 5th September.
The Herald Women's Premier League
Is the premier women's competition in the Region and includes six (6) teams, including the Northern NSW Emerging Athletes side (EAP). After the success of the inaugural season in 2009, 2010 is expected to showcase a high quality of women's football.
NNSW Youth League
Consists of six (6) NNSWF zones (Newcastle, Macquarie, Hunter Valley, Mid North Coast, North Coast and Northern Inland) with 13's/14's/15's in Boys Divisions and a 15's Girls Division.
Solo Cup
The Solo Cup competition is open to all mens NNSWF Premier Competition Clubs and Senior Member Zone Clubs. The Solo Cup will be conducted on a straight knockout basis with Round 1 in the Southern Pool on 27th March 2010 and in the Northern Pool on 31st March 2010.
