Clubs across northern NSW have been invited to compete in the 2023 Northern NSW Football Champion of Champions tournament in October.
Champion of Champions brings together the best youth community football teams from across NNSWF’s seven member zones.
Coffs Coast Sport & Leisure Park will host the girls tournament from 2 to 5 October, with the boys tournament to follow from 5 to 8 October.
Clubs are encouraged to enter teams competing in their member zone’s top division for their age group, with expressions of interest now open.
There will be girls and boys divisions from under-12s to under-16s.
The competition’s format will be confirmed closer to the tournament but will consist of a round robin section followed by finals.
NNSWF Club Development Officer Phillip Andrews said he was excited for the 2023 Champion of Champions tournament.
“It’s great to see Champion of Champions return again this year,” Andrews said.
“This tournament is a wonderful opportunity for our best young community footballers to play competitive football in a vibrant environment and play against clubs and players from all across northern NSW.”
Formats may vary between age groups based on final team numbers. NNSWF may be required to combine age groups if insufficient nominations are entered to deliver a fair competition.
Fixtures will be announced after expressions of interest are finalised.
