Coach Educator Program to inspire next generation

Northern NSW Football’s new Coach Educator Program will provide coaches with the qualifications, training and resources necessary to become the people who coach our coaches.

The program will upskill participants to be able to facilitate coach training and development opportunities to help inspire the next generation of coaches and players.

The program offers:

  • An interactive identification workshop with coursework and practical exercises
  • Access to a supportive community of like-minded coaches with opportunities to collaborate and network

Coaches aged 18 and over who have held a Football Australia ‘C’ Licence or higher for at least 12 months are encouraged to attend an ID Workshop on Tuesday 4 April.

NNSW Football Legacy Plan Development Officer Joseph Wright said the program had a number of benefits.

“NNSWF’s new Coach Educator Program will help us attract and inspire the next generation of coaches and players,” Wright said.

“It’s a chance for aspiring coach educators to be involved in a new and exciting program which will help boost participation.

“And it’s also an opportunity for coaches to get paid by NNSWF to share their love of coaching.”
