Indigenous Round
Celebrate and recognise the contributions of First Nations members of our community with Indigenous Round.
Indigenous Round is happening 17 – 19 July 2026.
With a deep commitment to diversity and inclusion, Indigenous Round provides an opportunity to recognise the history, culture, and achievements of First Nations participants.
Ideas for your club:
- Engage a First Nations artist to create an Indigenous Round kit
- Invite local Indigenous Elders to speak or give a Welcome to Country
- Hold a smoking ceremony
- Perform an Acknowledgement of Country prior to games
- Invite First Nations dancers to perform
- Invite stall holders that showcase Indigenous culture
