Northern NSW Football conducts Australia Cup Northern Conference preliminary fourth round draw

Northern NSW Football has conducted its draw for the Northern Conference fourth preliminary round of the 2023 Australia Cup.

The draw was broadcast live on Thursday afternoon.

The competition has again been split between Northern and Southern conferences. The Northern Conference features 28 teams representing Football Far North Coast (three), North Coast Football (nine), Football Mid North Coast (six) and NNSWF - Northern Inland (10) member zones.

In round four of the Northern Conference, the winner of Tamworth FC and Alstonville FC will host East Armidale FC, while the winner of Armidale City Westside FC and Bangalow SC will travel to face Lismore Richmond Rovers FC.

Oxley Vale Attunga FC will take on the winners Coffs Coast Tiges FC and Hillvue Rovers FC, while the winner of Woolgoolga United FC and Lake Cathie FC will host the winner of South Armidale United FC and Northern Storm FC.

Round three matches will be played this weekend, with round four matches to be played by the weekend ending Sunday 5 March.

The 12 NPL Men’s NNSW clubs will enter the competition’s Southern Conference in round four. This will see a total of 75 NNSWF clubs enter the Australia Cup this season, the most since 2018.

There will be seven knockout rounds to decide the two NNSWF representatives that qualify for the national round of 32.
