  • The face-to-face session is entirely practical and encourages the coach to create a games-based approach focused on enjoyment.
  • The focus is on learning by playing football. The secret to encouraging players to develop a love for the game without coaching is to organise enjoyable football activities.
  • The coaches' exposure to fundamental game rules and guidance on creating an enjoyable and safe football environment. 
  • Coaches will then need to complete the online modules on the Learning Centre Platform to be awarded the certificate. Coaches will not be qualified until they complete the practical and online components of the course.

  • Aimed at volunteer parents and coaches working with novice players or players aged approximately up to 10 years old.

Do I need to register to attend?

Yes. If you register it automatically generates your MiniRoos Certificate online.


What do I need to bring?

  • Bring comfortable clothes for participation in practical activities if you are able
  • Bring a friend to join in the experience
  • Bring an open mind to learn something new

When will I receive my Certificate?

  • Your certificate will be available online 2-3 weeks after the completion of the course
  • View qualification history to download your certificate

Can a course be held at my club?

If your club has a club coaching coordinator, they can contact us to organise a club based course. Coaches will need to be registered on MyFootballClub in order to be eligible to attend.


How long is my accreditation valid?

Community Coaching Certificates are valid for a period of four years. If you wish to extend your qualification please contact our office on (02) 4941 7200
